The development of a new website or application is an exciting time. After years of persistence with an existing framework, or countless late night, after-hours planning, the time has finally come to invest your time and money in developing something new. Something ground-breaking! However, not all projects end on the electric high note they begin with and sometimes, a client can be left underwhelmed, out of pocket, or wondering what could have been done differently.

The potential for things to go wrong with a digital project is extremely high and well documented. In Australia, 65% - 85% of all digital/IT projects fail for one reason or another. This is a staggering statistic that I am certain can be reduced from a better understanding of the following set of principles. As a client, it's extremely important to know and understand how to get the most from a digital agency before engaging one and a great starting point for doing that is selecting the right fit.
